Empowering Veterans is an initiative that helps eligible Texas military veterans establish their business within the alcoholic beverage industry. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and the Texas Veterans Commission, in collaboration with the Texas Workforce Commission, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, the Texas A&M McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship and the Office of the Secretary of State, are partnering together on the joint initiative.
The program recruits successful industry members to serve as mentors for Texas veterans. With help from TABC, the Veterans Commission and our other partners, mentors help guide veterans through the steps required to start a successful business within the alcoholic beverage industry.
If you're a veteran looking to start a business within the alcoholic beverage industry, we've got you covered. TABC and our partners in the Empowering Veterans initiative offer a host of resources you can use while planning your way forward.
